     Albert C. Vetter was born on 23 April 1913 at Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1 He was the son of Jacob Vetter and Lydia Friederich.1 Albert C. Vetter first married, at age 21, Clara Alma Pietz, age 19 on Thursday, 7 March 1935 at Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1,2 Albert C. Vetter married a second time, at age 30, Ida Martha Weisz, age 22, daughter of Otto Weisz and Theresa Christina Bietz, on Sunday, 16 January 1944.3,1 Albert C. Vetter died on 31 December 2002 at Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota, at age 89 years, 8 months and 8 days.1 He was buried in section 42, in the Grace Hill Cemetery, located in Tripp, Hutchinson County, South Dakota.1
     He became a widower at the age of 30 with the death of Clara on 30 April 1943.2 For the second time he became a widower at the age of 78 with the death of Ida on 3 September 1991.3
