Karl Fredrich was born on 24 January 1847 at Dennewitz, Bessarabia, Russia.1 He was the son of Johannes Thomas Fredrich and Christine Bross.1 Karl Fredrich married, at age 23, Katharina Brost, age 19, daughter of Johann Georg Brost and Elisabeth Weber, on Saturday, 21 January 1871 at Benkendorf, Bessarabia, Russia.1 Karl Fredrich died on 3 December 1923 at Basyryamka, Bessarabia, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, at age 76 years, 10 months and 9 days.1
