Albert Ferdinand Dorhauer1

     Albert Ferdinand Dorhauer was born on 21 June 1874 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia.1 He was the son of Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer and Wilhelmina Louisa Meurer.1 Albert Ferdinand Dorhauer married Matilda Jane Elliott, daughter of Irwine T. Elliott and Susannah Clara Downing, in 1920 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia.1 Albert Ferdinand Dorhauer died on 31 May 1952 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia, at age 77 years, 11 months and 10 days.1
     Albert Ferdinand Dorhauer was a signitary to the petition of 25th April 1895 to His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor of NSW to have the area which was known as "Castlereagh" to be erected into a municipality under the name "MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF CASTLEREAGH."

Albert had carried on a carrying business situated on the corner of Halls lane and Jersey Road.2
