Edward August Dorhauer1

     Edward August Dorhauer was born on 11 April 1866 at Woollahra, Municipality of Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia.1 He was the son of Heinrich Christian Dürrhauer and Wilhelmina Louisa Meurer.1 Edward August Dorhauer married Emma Dollinda Maiden, daughter of Alfred Thomas Maiden and Emma Caroline Ellen Borthwick, in 1892 at Stroud, New South Wales, Australia.1 Edward August Dorhauer died on 24 October 1927 at Gladesville Hospital, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, at age 61 years, 6 months and 13 days.1 He was buried in the Rookwood Necropolis, located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
     Edward August was the second son born to Heinrich Christian and Wilhelmina Louisa Dorhauer. He followed after his father and became a builder.

Edward had a mental breakdown and he died at Hunters Hill in 1927. He is buried in the Lutheran section of the Rookwood cemetery in the same plot as his parents, although the grave stone has not been inscribed to indicate his internment.1
