     Sophia Winkler was born on 15 June 1879 at Baden, German Empire.2 She married John Keller, son of Johannes Keller and Elizabeth Minzi, circa 1911.1,4 Sophia Winkler died on 22 May 1969 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 89 years, 11 months and 7 days. She was buried on 26 May 1969 in section 3, lot 538, grave 5, in the Memorial Park Cemetery, located in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.5
     Sophia Winkler was also known as Sophie.6 She emigrated in 1906 from Baden, German Empire, to America. She and John Keller appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 at Dayton, 2nd Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. Sophia, the wife of John Keller, who died on 20 October 1925, was listed as the informant on the death certificate.1 Sophia Winkler appeared on the census of 26 April 1930 at Dayton, 2nd Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. As of April 1969, Sophia Winkler lived at 31 North Harbine Avenue, Dayton, Ohio.5 Her obituary was published sometime in May 1969 in the local paper, printed in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. Her obituary stated:

     KELLER, Mrs. Sophie, age 89, of 31 N. Harbine Av., died Thursday. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and the Grandmother's Club. Survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Janet Reed of Boyertown, Pa. and Miss Marion Keller, of Dayton; a son-in-law, George Marsch, of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Mrs. Susan Stowe and John Reed, both of Boyertown, Pa., and Mrs. Joan Kady, of Germany and 3 great-grandchildren. Services 10 a.m. Monday at the Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1809 E. Third St. Burial Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, Sunday, 4 to 9 p.m.5
