Jacob Zimmerman1

Jacob Zimmerman was born on 21 August 1917.1 He was the son of Jacob Fredrich Zimmerman and Ethel Sharp.1 Jacob Zimmerman died on 10 February 1969 at Illinois at age 51 years, 5 months and 20 days.1
Jacob Zimmerman also went by the name of Fred. Jacob was a WWII veteran, who caught malaria while making his only supply ship voyage to Africa during the war. He was on ships making many trips with supplies to Murmansk, Russia without any problems. Ironically, he loved the cold, but this one hot weather trip to Africa eventually created the cause for his death, due to recurrences of malaria.1 He was the owner of a fuel distributing business in the Harvey, Illinois area and had a retail boat sales dealership.1 He never married.1
