Scholder died on 4 February 1949 at Massillon City Hospital, Massillon, Stark County, Ohio, at age 66 years, 5 months and 16 days. She died due to a cerebral hemorrhage.3 She was buried on 7 February 1949 in the Massillon City Cemetery, located in Massillon, Stark County, Ohio.3

Scholder appeared on the census of 20 April 1910 in the household of Sarah Arlie Kirk at Massillon, 4th Ward, Stark County, Ohio. Mary H. Scholder appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 in the household of Sarah Arlie Kirk at Massillon, 4th Ward, Stark County, Ohio. Mary, the daughter of Sarah Arlie Kirk, who died on 1 January 1936, was listed as the informant on the death certificate.4,2 Mary H. Scholder was employed by Duncan's Jewlery store as a clerk 1940.3
