Evy worked as an exercise and dance instructor in the 1970s and 80s, and then became a student of art in the last decades of her life. She created a warm home for her family, and treasured time in the beautiful garden she cultivated. She never ceased to amaze friends and strangers alike with her sharp wit and candid observations. She greeted every life challenge with optimism and a smile.
Evy is survived by her adoring husband, Fred; her daughters, Stacy and Amy; and her granddaughter, Emma, who gave her tremendous happiness.
There will be a celebration of Evy's life held at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries - Hollywood Hills.1
