Luitgard Scholder was born on 26 May 1898 at Saint Mary's, Elk County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Lawrence Scholder and Theresa Bandel.2 Luitgard Scholder married Asa Charles Nelson, son of Charles Pitman Nelson and Idura Lilley Hoover, circa 1925.2 Luitgard Scholder died on 30 November 1968 at Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona, at age 70 years, 6 months and 4 days.1,2 She was buried on 4 December 1968 in the Morningside Cemetery, located in Du Bois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.2
