Georg Baumann was born on 26 April 1879 at Alt Posttal, Bessarabia, Russia.1 He was the son of Georg Baumann and Dorothea Stadel.1 Georg Baumann married, at age 27, Katharina Fode, age 23, daughter of Jakob Fode and Anna Keller, on Saturday, 1 December 1906 at Tarutino, Bessarabia, Russia.1 Georg Baumann died on 7 August 1931 at Alt Posttal, Bessarabia, Russia, at age 52 years, 3 months and 12 days.1
