Leveorn H. Dittus was born on 16 July 1930 at Fredonia, Logan County, North Dakota.1,2,3 He was the son of John Dittus and Emma Kay Mundt.1 Leveorn H. Dittus married, at age 21, Iris Dean Keller, age 17, daughter of Clarence Keller and Mary Whitaker, on Monday, 31 March 1952.1,3 Leveorn H. Dittus died on 28 February 1998 at Wishek Hospital, Wishek, McIntosh County, North Dakota, at age 67 years, 7 months and 12 days.1,2,3 He was buried on 4 March 1998 in the Nazareth Congregational Cemetery, located in Fredonia, Logan County, North Dakota.3
His obituary was published on 1 March 1998 in the The Bismarck Tribune, printed in Bismarck, Burleigh County, North Dakota. His obituary stated:
FREDONIA -- Leveorn Dittus, 67, Fredonia, died Feb. 28, 1998, in the Wishek hospital. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Nazareth Congregational Church, Fredonia, with burial in Congregational Cemetery, rural Fredonia.
He is survived by his wife, Iris; four daughters, Judy Mueller, Kulm, Nancy Kracke and Bonnie Entzi, both of Fredonia, and Carol Dittus, Jamestown; one son, Bill, Fredonia; one brother, Clifford, Pilot Rock, Ore; and one sister, Darlene Dittus, Encinitas, Calif. (Haut Funeral Home, Wishek.)3 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Leveorn's last known residence was Fredonia, Logan County, North Dakota.2
