     Maria Deegen was born on 23 May 1918.1 She was the daughter of Wilhelmus Deegen and Petronella Cornelia Antonia de Koning.1 Maria Deegen married, at age 29, Leonardus Bartholomeus Maas, age 29, son of Andreas Bartholomeus Maas and Johanna Hendrika Degenaar, on Wednesday, 12 November 1947 at Rotterdam, Netherlands.1 Maria Deegen died on 23 May 2004 at Rotterdam, Netherlands, at age 86 years.1 She was cremated on 27 May 2004.1
     Maria Deegen also went by the name of Miep.1
