     Michael Ruoff was born on 7 October 1562 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Andreas Ruoff and Apollonia Siglin.1 Michael Ruoff married Barbara Sommer, daughter of Hans Sommer and Barbara Scholderer, circa 1601.1 Michael Ruoff died on 23 May 1624 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg, at age 61 years, 7 months and 16 days.1
