Wilhelm Ludwig Held

     Wilhelm Ludwig Held was born on 20 June 1909 at Sindelfingen, Oberamt Böblingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg, German Empire.¹ He was the son of Wilhelm Friedrich Held and Sophie Luise Dinkelacker.¹ Wilhelm Ludwig Held first married, at age 25, Gretchen Haas, age 25, daughter of Karl Haas, on Saturday, 10 November 1934.¹ Wilhelm Ludwig Held married a second time, at age 38, Else Frida Röhm, daughter of Adolf Röhm, on Thursday, 27 May 1948 at Sindelfingen, Württemberg-Baden, Americian Zone (Germany).² Wilhelm Ludwig Held died on 24 March 1986 at Sindelfingen, Böblingen, District of Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany, at age 76 years, 9 months and 4 days.¹
     He became a widower at the age of 35 with the death of Gretchen on 23 May 1945.¹
