     Jack Harold Scholder was born on 15 September 1932.1,2 He was the son of [—?—] Scholder.2 Jack Harold Scholder married, at age 68, Susan Margaret Geltz on Saturday, 21 April 2001 at Bay County, Florida.2 Jack Harold Scholder died on 26 August 2007 at Panama City, Bay County, Florida, at age 74 years, 11 months and 11 days.1,2 A memorial service for Jack Harold Scholder was held Wilson Funeral Home, 214 Airport Road, Panama City, Bay County, Florida, on 1 September 2007 at 10 a.m.2
     He graduated circa 1950 from Lanier High School, located in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama.2 His obituary was published on 28 August 2007 in the Montgomery Advertiser, printed in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama. His obituary stated:

     SCHOLDER, Jack Harold 74, passed away at his home in Panama City on August 26, 2007. He was a graduate of Lanier High School in Montgomery, attended Auburn University, and served in the United States Air Force. For a span of some thirty years, with his company known as "The Insurance Group Inc", he represented several distinguished insurance carriers including Ohio National Life and New York Life, earning the distinction as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

     He was known to most of his clients and friends as "Captain Jack." Being an avid sailor, he served a term as commodore of the United State Power Squadron. Captain Scholder also was a member of the NRA and American Legion, Orlando. Additionally, he and his wife are members of the First Baptist Church in Panama City.

     He is survived by his wife, Susan Scholder, his children, Pam Ellen of Newnan, GA, Michael Scholder of San Francisco, Colleen Vornbrock of Atlanta, and Brad Scholder of Titus, AL, his sister, Fan Watson, nephew Michael Watson and niece Shannon Rodden all of Charlotte, NC, two step children Rob Geltz of Panama City, and Beth Darnell of Eclectic, AL, as well as "the girls" Darlene Terreault and Melissa Fox of Panama City. In addition to these, there are many grandchildren and friends who will miss him very dearly.

     A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 1st, at Wilson Funeral Home, 214 Airport Rd, Panama City. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, or The American Diabetes Association.2
