     William G. Wolf was born on 29 January 1864 at Degerloch, Oberamt Stuttgart, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1,5,4 He was the son of Samuel Wolf and Margaret Metzger. William G. Wolf married, at age 27, Katharine M. Keller, age 27, daughter of Johannes Keller and Elizabeth Minzi, on Thursday, 20 August 1891 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.6,7,2,3,4 William G. Wolf died on 16 December 1945 at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 81 years, 10 months and 17 days.3,4 He was buried on 19 December 1945 in section 3, lot 104, grave 1, in the Memorial Park Cemetery, located in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend W. R. Grunewald.3,4
     William G. Wolf was also known as William Wolfe.6,7 He emigrated in 1880 from Germany to America. He was in military service with the United States Army between 28 February 1885 and 12 March 1891.8 He and Katharine M. Keller appeared on the census of 8 June 1900 at Dayton, 8th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. William G. Wolf and Katharine M. Keller appeared on the census of April 1910 at Dayton, 8th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. William G. Wolf and Katharine M. Keller appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 at Dayton, 9th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. As of October 1924, William G. Wolf and Katharine M. Keller lived at 55 Clover Street, Dayton, Ohio.9,6 William G. Wolf and Katharine M. Keller appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 at Dayton, 9th Ward, Montgomery County, Ohio. His obituary was published sometime in December 1945 in the local paper, printed in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. His obituary stated:

     WOLF, WM. G., 81, of R.R. 7, Beverly and Ravers ave., died Sunday at 10:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth hospital. He is survived by his wife Katherine; 1 son Walter of Dayton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hafner, Dayton; Mrs. Chas. Flarity and Mrs. Charlotte Wendell, both of Detroit; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Christina Kaiser, Manchester, Michigan. Funeral services will be held from the Luthman Funeral Home, 364 Xenia av., Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. W. R. Grunewald officiating. Burial Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday until time of service.4

It was translated at some point by Mrs. Hatch from the university of Cincinnati. The page most likely came from a descendant of daughter Katie Keller and William Wolf, as it shows "Our father William G. Wolf was born January 29, 1864.

This is a copy of a family tree that was hand drawn in 1943. The date listed is shown as 8-8-1943. David indicated that it came from Emma (Keller) Feldmaier, which is Jacob Keller's daughter. It can be presumed that either Jacob or Emma was the artist of the tree. The tree contains no dates only a center showning John and Eliabeth Keller with branches for each of their children: Anna, Lena, John, Elizabeth, George, Margaret, Jacob, Katie and Christ and their descendants.
