     Hanß Jerg Maürer was born on 26 May 1701 at Rosenfeld, Oberamt Sulz, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.1 He married, at age 22, Maria Barbara Scholder, age 24, daughter of Hans Ulrich Scholderer and Anna Sophia Braun, on Tuesday, 3 August 1723 at Rosenfeld, Oberamt Sulz, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.2,3 Hanß Jerg Maürer died on 24 January 1741 at Rosenfeld, Oberamt Sulz, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, at age 39 years, 7 months and 29 days.1
     Hanß Jerg Maürer was also known as Johann Georg Maurer.2 Hanß Jerg Maürer was also known as Johannes.2 He was listed as a zeugerber [tanner?] and zeugmacher [cloth maker] in the church books from Rosenfeld.1
