Mary Throckmorton1,2,3

     Mary Throckmorton was born on 18 February 1842 at Greene County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of John Throckmorton and Alice Simpson.1,3 Mary Throckmorton married, at age 23, Augustus Victor Scholder, age 27, son of John Scholder and Fredrekie Bonmyer, on Thursday, 3 August 1865 at Sparta, Morrow County, Ohio.1,3 Mary Throckmorton died on 24 December 1919 at Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, at age 77 years, 10 months and 6 days.2,1 She was buried in the Bloomfield Cemetery, located in Morrow County, Ohio.2
     She witnessed the immigration of John Throckmorton and Alice Simpson on 9 November 1849 at Sparta, Morrow County, Ohio.1 Mary Throckmorton and Augustus Victor Scholder appeared on the census of 15 July 1870 at South Bloomfield Township, Morrow County, Ohio. She was widowed at age 53 by the death of Augustus on 20 April 1895.1,2 After her husband's death she spent the summers in her home in East Chattanooga, and the winters with her son Ralph in Memphis, Tenn.1 Mary Throckmorton appeared on the census of 23 June 1900 at 6th Civil District, Hamilton County, Tennessee.
