     Richard Lee Robinson was born on 3 January 1938.4,5,1 He was the son of Charles Alexander Robinson and Hazel Kathyrn Kinley. Richard Lee Robinson was baptized, at age 3 months and 21 days, on Sunday, 24 April 1938 at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He married, at age 18, Lois Mae Sholder, age 20, daughter of James Lloyd Sholder and Grace Mildred Hafer, on Friday, 30 March 1956 at Bottle Run, Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Richard Lee Robinson died on 27 July 1991 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Mahoning Township, Montour County, Pennsylvania, at age 53 years, 6 months and 24 days.4,5,1 He was buried on 31 July 1991 in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend William E. Pipp.1,5

BETHEL WINS CHURCH TITLE

Anchor man Dick Robinson, carrying a 164 average, came through under pressure with a 607 series to lead Bethel Presbyterian to a 2,641 - 2,456 victory over St. John's Chapel and the championship of the Harvest Moon Church Bowling League.

Robinson, who threw games of 215 - 201 - 191, was backed by Bill Lechler's 553 as Bethel won big in the first and last games to overpower St. John's, which was led by Virgil Nicholas' 571.

Bethel took a 72-pin lead into the finale and applied the clincher with an 869 - 755 win. The winners' margin in the first game was 89 pins, 899 - 810, and St. John's took the middle game, 891 - 874.

COUPLE OBSERVES 25TH ANNIVERSARY

Linden - Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Robinson, of Linden RD 2, observed their 25th wedding anniversary March 30th.

They were married in Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Bottle Run, by the Rev. Daniel S. Robinson, an uncle of the bridegroom.

Mrs. Robinson is the former Lois M. Sholder. She is employed by Times Distribution Services, New York City. Mr. Robinson is employed by Pullman Power Products.

The couple are the parents of two children, Linda Mae and Brad Richard, both at home.

The Robinsons were honored at a dinner party at the church.

RICHARD LEE ROBINSON

Richard Lee Robinson, 53, of Williamsport RD 5, died at 9:12 p.m. Saturday, July 27, 1991, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was admitted as a patient last Monday.

He and his wife, the former Lois M. Sholder, observed their 35th wedding anniversary on March 30th.

He retired from Pullman Power Products former Williamsport plant, where he was employed as a shop steward. He was a member and pension trustee of the former Local 810, Plumbers and Pipefitters. He was also a member of Union 520, Plumbers and Pipefitters, Harrisburg.

He was a 1955 graduate of Williamsport High School.

An avid bowler for many years, he rolled a 300 game this past spring.

He was formerly a member and elder of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church, where he served on the trustee board.

Surviving, besides his wife, are a daughter Linda Mae Fink, of Williamsport RD 2; a son Brad R., of Muncy RD 6; three brothers, R. Clair, of South Williamsport; Dale W., of Linden; and Donald P., of Cogan Station; a sister, Mrs. Lois M. Levan, of Williamsport RD 2.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Quiggleville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. William E. Pipp, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Buchanan Cemetery, Old Lycoming Township. Friends may call at Sanders', 821 Diamond Street, from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The family will provide the flowers.
He and Lois Mae Sholder were 3rd and 5th cousins as well as husband and wife. As of November 1965, Richard Lee Robinson and Lois Mae Sholder lived at Linden RD 1, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6,7
