Jacobus Floris

     Jacobus Floris was born on 9 September 1863 at Hensbroek, Netherlands.¹ He was the son of Arien Floris and Catharina Schuitemaker.¹ Jacobus Floris first married, at age 25, Margaretha Brouwer, age 24, daughter of Cornelis Brouwer and Alida Vrasdonk, on Sunday, 10 February 1889 at Bergen, North Holland Province, Netherlands.¹ Jacobus Floris married a second time, at age 41, Maria Ydema, age 45 on Thursday, 2 February 1905 at Beverwijk, North Holland Province, Netherlands.¹ Jacobus Floris died on 21 September 1934 at Berkhout, Netherlands, at age 71 years and 12 days.¹
     He became a widower at the age of 40 with the death of Margaretha on 22 February 1904.¹ He became a widower at the age of 66 with the death of Maria on 4 August 1930.¹
