Johann Georg Braun was born on 15 December 1873 at Ebhausen, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, German Empire.1 He was the son of Johann Georg Braun and Johanna Friedrika Helber.1 Johann Georg Braun married, at age 35, Sophia Dürr, age 34, daughter of Heinrich Dürr and Anna Maria Hefalmeier, on Saturday, 20 February 1909 at Evangelical Church, Ebhausen, Oberamt Calw, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, German Empire.1 Johann Georg Braun died on 12 September 1943 at age 69 years, 8 months and 28 days.1
He became a widower at the age of 40 with the death of Sophia on 29 September 1914.1
