Nicolaas Gerritsz Half

     Nicolaas Gerritsz Half was born on 3 April 1825 at Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands.¹ He was the son of Gerrit Pietersz Half and Grietje Willems Prins.¹ Nicolaas Gerritsz Half first married, at age 24, Marijtje Scholder, age 26, daughter of Jacob Klaasz Scholder and Engeltje Volkers Loos, on Sunday, 20 May 1849 at Castricum, Netherlands.¹ Nicolaas Gerritsz Half married a second time, at age 33, Aagje Bruijns, age 21 on Thursday, 18 November 1858 at Castricum, Netherlands.¹ Nicolaas Gerritsz Half married a third time, at age 45, Trijntje Molenaar on Sunday, 24 July 1870 at Koedijk, North Holland Province, Netherlands.¹ Nicolaas Gerritsz Half died on 24 February 1882 at Heiloo, Netherlands, at age 56 years, 10 months and 21 days.¹
