Jacob Groen was born circa 1851 at Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands.1 He was the son of Johannes Jacobsz Groen and Dirkje Jans Wijker.1 Jacob Groen married Marijtje Ariens Gouda, daughter of Arie Reijne Gouda and Marijtje Ariens van Pel, on Sunday, 22 August 1875 at Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands.1 Jacob Groen died before November 1922.1
