     Mary Lou Rimert was born on 12 January 1934 at Renovo, Chapman Township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Luther C. Rimert and Lydia E. Gentzel.1,3 Mary Lou Rimert married, at age 17, Harold Sholder Livermore, age 20, son of Dewey Eckard Livermore and Helen Marie Sholder, on Saturday, 6 October 1951 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3,4 Mary Lou Rimert died on 12 April 2006 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 72 years and 3 months.1,2,3 She was buried on 15 April 2006 in the Blooming Grove Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Kraig L. Faust.1,3
     As of 1979, Mary Lou Rimert and Harold Sholder Livermore lived at Williamsport RD 2, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5,6 As of 2001, Mary Lou Rimert and Harold Sholder Livermore lived at 1625 Fox Hollow Road, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Her obituary was published on 14 April 2006 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Mary Lou Livermore, 72, of 1625 Fox Hollow Road, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at the Williamsport Hospital.

     She and her husband, Harold S. Livermore observed their 54th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2005.

     Mary Lou was a 50 year member of St. John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church. She served on numerous church committees and was a former member of its choir. One of her ministries was overseeing dinners at church for bereaved families. Mary Lou also enjoyed hostessing her family and friends at her home.

     Born Jan. 12, 1934 in Renovo, she was the daughter of Luther C. Rimert and Lydia Gentzel.

     Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, the Rev. Steven M. (Susan) of York and David S. of Williamsport; daughter, Linda L. (Michael) Springman of Watsontown; sister, Lorraine R. Bower of Williamsport; step sister, Patricia Marden of Jersey Shore and granddaughters, Megan and Laura Springman, Emily, Patience and Elizabeth Livermore.

     Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, 2101 Newberry St., with the Rev. Kraig L. Faust, officiating. There will be a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave. Burial will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery.

     The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions be made to St. John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 2101 Newberry Street, Williamsport, PA 17701 or to the Childrenís Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, 1251 Waterfront Place, Fifth Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.1
