     Samuel Scholder was born on 24 October 1889 at Zloczow Powiat, Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, Austro-Hungarian Empire.1 He was the son of Henry Scholder and Goldrie [—?—]. Samuel Scholder married, at age 24, Anna Fox on Saturday, 17 January 1914 at Kings County, New York. Samuel Scholder died on 8 November 1967 at age 78 years and 15 days.1,2 He was buried in the Mount Lebanon Cemetery, located in Glendale, Queens County, New York.2
     He and Anna Fox appeared on the census of 4 April 1930 at Brooklyn, 1st Ward, Kings County, New York. Samuel Scholder and Anna Fox appeared on the census of 10 April 1940 at Brooklyn, 18th Ward, Kings County, New York. As of 1942, Samuel Scholder and Anna Fox lived at 157 East 96th Street, Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. He became a widower at the age of 63 with the death of Anna on 22 November 1952.3 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Samuel as Brooklyn, Kings County, New York.1
