Kathryn Larae Kilhefner was born on 15 November 1934.1,3 She was the daughter of William D. Kilhefner and Dorothy Myers. Kathryn Larae Kilhefner married, at age 31, Neil Harvey Sholder, age 35, son of Charles Samuel Sholder and Josephine Polly Bingaman, on Wednesday, 23 February 1966.1,4 Kathryn Larae Kilhefner died on 10 February 2008 at age 73 years, 2 months and 26 days.1,3 She was buried in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
Kathryn Larae Kilhefner was also known as Katie.1 She graduated in 1952 from Williamsport High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 As of 1992, Kathryn Larae Kilhefner and Neil Harvey Sholder lived in Bella Vista, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of 2002, Kathryn Larae Kilhefner and Neil Harvey Sholder lived at 2809 Orchard Avenue, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was widowed at age 71 by the death of Neil on 11 March 2006.4,5

Surviving are sons, Marc W. (Jane) of Fleetwood, Pa., and Craig A., with whom she lived, and granddaughters Emily and Meredith.
Arrangements are being handled by Spitler Funeral Home. Burial will be at Twin Hills Memorial Park. There will be no services. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Gatehouse, 1100 Grampian Blvd, Williamsport, PA 17701.1 The Social Security Death Index gives the last residence of record for Kathryn as Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
