Austin Williford was born on 13 February 1925.1,2 He married Nancy Louise Lockcuff, daughter of Melvin Edgar Lockcuff and Caroline Lillian Calkins, circa 1965.3,2 Austin Williford died on 19 February 1995 at Linwood Convalescent Center, Linwood, Atlantic County, New Jersey, at age 70 years and 6 days.1,2 He was buried on 21 February 1995 in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, located in Estell Manor, Atlantic County, New Jersey.2
His obituary was published on 20 February 1995 in the The Press of Atlantic City, printed in Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey. His obituary stated:
AUSTIN WILLIFORD, 70, of Scullville, Egg Harbor Township, died Sunday at Linwood Convalescent Center.
Mr. Williford, who retired in 1990, had been a stationary engineer for the Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division in Galloway Township.
He was an area resident the past 22 years and had been a member of the Somers Point Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Henry of San Antonio and Matthew, at home; three daughters, Vernita Pemberton of Eaton, Ohio, Betty Foster of Waterford Township, Mich., and Lisa Ortiz of Egg Harbor Township; two sisters, Elma Malpezzi of Sarasota, Fla., and Lorene Savell of Mays Landing; a brother, Zellner T. Garner of Spring Lake, N.C; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, where friends may call one hour before the service. Burial will be in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. Arrangements are by the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Northfield.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Austin's last known residence was Mays Landing, Atlantic County, New Jersey.1
