     Maria Catharina Bauer was born circa 1690 at Vaihingen an der Enz, Oberamt Vaihingen, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.3 She was the daughter of Johann Zacharias Bauer.1,3 Maria Catharina Bauer married Carl Maximilian Scholderer, age 57, son of Stephan Scholderer and Maria Bisinger, on Tuesday, 17 November 1744 at Evangelical Church, Flacht, Oberamt Leonberg, Neckarkreis, Württemberg.1,2
     Maria Catharina's surname has also been spelled as Bauren.2
