     Violet L. Bair was born on 17 September 1920 at Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3 She was the daughter of Luther L. Bair and Hannah Elmira Hill.1,3 Violet L. Bair married, at age 27, Ralph Henry Weigle, age 26, son of Judson Fulmore Weigle and Annie Marina Sholder, on Saturday, 7 August 1948.1,3,4 Violet L. Bair died on 17 May 2007 at home, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 86 years and 8 months.3,4 She was buried on 21 May 2007 in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend James R. Behrens.3
     Violet L. Bair graduated in 1939 from Montgomery High School, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 She was in military service with the Women's Army Corps during World War II between 1943 and 1946. She enlisted on 17 Feb 1943 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.3 As of 1998, Violet L. Bair and Ralph Henry Weigle lived at 2202 Mahaffey Lane, Williamsport, Pennsylvania.1,3

     Violet L. Bair was listed in Sharon Diane Weigle's obituary on 22 May 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as her mother.2 Her obituary was published on 19 May 2007 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Violet L. Weigle, 86, of 2202 Mahaffey Lane, died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at her home following an extended illness.

     She and her husband, Ralph H. Weigle, observed their 58th wedding anniversary on Aug. 7, 2006.

     Violet was a veteran of World War II serving three years in the Women's Army Corps. For over 50 years she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a 1939 graduate of Montgomery High School. Violet also enjoyed reading, sewing and loved flowers.

     Born Sept. 17, 1920 in Montgomery, she was the daughter of Luther L. and H. Elmira Hill Bair.

     Surviving, in addition to her husband, are daughters, Sandra L. (Robert) Dochter of Salladasburg and Susan M. (Michael) Andrzejewski of Pittsburgh; sister, Eva Stackhouse of Jersey Shore, three grandchildren and one step grandson.

     She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Deckard, an infant granddaughter, a grandson, a brother, Russell Bair and a sister, Jean Hanley.

     Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with the Rev. Dr. James R. Behrens, officiating. There will be a visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.3
