Caroline Berry1

     Caroline Berry was born in September 1855 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Peter Berry and Elizabeth Kinley.1 Caroline Berry married Daniel Sholder, son of Christian August Scholderer and Anna Margareta Lutscher, in 1876.1 Caroline Berry died on 17 April 1935 at age 79 years and 7 months. She was buried in lot 645W1/2, in the Mound Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     She appeared on the census of 28 July 1860 in the household of Peter Berry and Elizabeth Kinley at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder appeared on the census of 16 June 1880 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder appeared on the census of 14 June 1900 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder appeared on the census of 18 April 1910 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. In the Boyd's City Directory for Williamsport, Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder lived at 1311 Race Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, between 1915 and 1920. Daniel's occupation is listed as being a gardener.2 Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of April 1930, Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder lived at 1337 Race Street, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Caroline Berry and Daniel Sholder appeared on the census of 11 April 1930 at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was widowed by the death of Daniel in 1931.
