Mary Ann Creasey

     Mary Ann Creasey was born in March 1843 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Adam Crecy and Elizabeth Flexer. Mary Ann Creasey married Samuel Sholder, son of Christian August Scholderer and Anna Margareta Lutscher, circa 1865. Mary Ann Creasey died on 27 July 1902 at Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 59 years and 4 months. She was buried on 30 July 1902 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     She and Samuel Sholder appeared on the census of 5 July 1870 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Mary Ann Creasey and Samuel Sholder appeared on the census of 16 June 1880 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of 1900, Mary Ann Creasey and Samuel Sholder lived at 220 Poplar Street, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Her obituary was published on 28 July 1902 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Mary A. Shoulder [Sholder], wife of Samuel Shoulder [Sholder], of Newberry, died Saturday afternoon, of heart disease, aged nearly sixty years. Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Presbyterian church in Newberry.
