     William Sholder was born on 22 May 1862.2,3 He was the son of Christian Sholder and Leah Sechrist.1 William Sholder married, at age 24, Alice Emily Smithgall, age 20, daughter of David C. Smithgall and Sarah C. Myers, on Thursday, 30 December 1886 at Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. William Sholder died on 1 October 1887 at age 25 years, 4 months and 9 days.4,1 He was buried on 4 October 1887 in lot 408, in the Mound Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
