     Edward August Mahaffey was born on 22 July 1858 at Pennsylvania.3,2 He was the son of Thomas Mahaffey and Elizabeth B. Sholder.4,2 Edward August Mahaffey married, at age 26, Serritha Belle Frazer, age 19, daughter of James A. Frazer and Sarah Jane Stevenson, on Wednesday, 1 July 1885 at Roxbury, McPherson County, Kansas.2 Edward August Mahaffey died on 13 February 1950 at La Barge, Lincoln County, Wyoming, at age 91 years, 6 months and 22 days.
