Jacob Scholderer1,2

     Jacob Scholderer was born on 2 December 1860 at Freudenstadt, Oberamt Freudenstadt, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.1,3 He was the son of Jacob Scholderer and Barbara Wörner.3 Jacob Scholderer married Agnes Kehn circa 1882.1,2 Jacob Scholderer died on 1 September 1940 at Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 8 months and 30 days.1
     He emigrated circa 1881 from Freudenstadt, Oberamt Freudenstadt, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, German Empire, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.3 In the Church books at Freudenstadt there are no additional records about when or how Jacob came to America. We can specualte that he came sometime after the death of his mother in December of 1881 and before the birth of his first child in February of 1884. Since his wife was born in America, he most likely came sometime in 1882 or 1883.3 He and Agnes Kehn appeared on the census of 2 June 1900 at Philadelphia, 33rd Ward, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Scholderer and Agnes Kehn appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 at Philadelphia, 33rd Ward, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Scholderer and Agnes Kehn appeared on the census of 27 January 1920 at Philadelphia, 33rd Ward, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Scholderer and Agnes Kehn appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 at Philadelphia, 33rd Ward, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
