Lorinda Marie Clymer1,2

     Lorinda Marie Clymer was born on 13 November 1947 at Sault Sainte Marie, Chippewa County, Michigan.2 She was the daughter of Paul E. Clymer and Virginia G. Payment.2 Lorinda Marie Clymer first married [—?—] Cline circa 1970.1 Lorinda Marie Clymer married a second time, at age 26, Roy A. Williamson, age 28, son of Frederick F. Williamson and Florence Elizabeth Livermore, on Saturday, 14 September 1974.1 Lorinda Marie Clymer died on 20 October 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 71 years, 11 months and 7 days.2
     Lorinda Marie Clymer also went by the name of Linda.1,2 She graduated in 1965 from Loyalsock Township High School, located in Loyalsock Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 She was employed by the Williamsport Area School District for many years as an executive secretary.2 She was a Methodist, being a member of Saint John’s-Newberry United Methodist Church where she was a lay-speaker and served on many committees. Her obituary was published on 22 October 2019 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Lorinda M. 'Linda' Williamson, 71, of Williamsport, died Sunday Oct. 20, 2019, at UPMC Susquehanna-Williamsport.

     Born Nov. 13, 1947, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Virginia G. (Payment) Clymer.

     Linda was a 1965 graduate of Loyalsock High School. She was an executive secretary at the Williamsport Area School District for many years.

     Linda was a member of St. John’s Newberry United Methodist Church where she was a lay-speaker and served on many committees. She enjoyed making cards, crocheting, puzzles and reading.

     Surviving are her children, Lisa M. Hepler (Mark), of Danville, and Daun M. Williamson, of Linden; siblings, Alice L. Mosser, of Lock Haven, Charlie J. Clymer, of Flemington, Raymond P. Clymer, of Linden, and Joseph W. Arndt (Nancy), of Michigan; grandchildren, Jessica L. Hepler, Jamie N. Hepler, Kyrsten M. Maiolo, and Jorden J. Downey, great-grandchildren, Acacia J. Maiolo, Easton A. W. Hepler, Ashton J. and Amelia R. Derermer, and Grayson Hepler; and several nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Minshall.

     A funeral service to honor the life of Linda will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Newberry United Methodist Church, 2101 Newberry St., Williamsport, with Rev. Lenore Hosier officiating. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, and Friday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

     Interment will be in Jersey Shore Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to St. John’s Newberry United Methodist Church.
