     Neil Harvey Sholder was born on 3 May 1930 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 He was the son of Charles Samuel Sholder and Josephine Polly Bingaman.4 Neil Harvey Sholder married, at age 35, Kathryn Larae Kilhefner, age 31, daughter of William D. Kilhefner and Dorothy Myers, on Wednesday, 23 February 1966.1,4 Neil Harvey Sholder died on 11 March 2006 at Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 75 years, 10 months and 8 days.4,3 He was buried on 14 March 2006 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
     He was in military service serving in the United States Air Force as a trainer and mechanic between 1949 and 1953 during the Korean War.4 He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a clerk and supervisor for 35 years between 1957 and 1992. As of 1992, Neil Harvey Sholder and Kathryn Larae Kilhefner lived in Bella Vista, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. As of 2002, Neil Harvey Sholder and Kathryn Larae Kilhefner lived at 2809 Orchard Avenue, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

     Neil Harvey Sholder the brother of Lee Nelson Sholder was listed in his obituary on 16 August 2003 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5 His obituary was published on 13 March 2006 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Neil H. Sholder, 75, of 2809 Orchard Ave., Montoursville, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 11, 2006.

     He was born May 3, 1930, in Williamsport, the son of late Charles and Josephine P. (Bingaman) Sholder. He was the brother of Donald L. Sholder of New Columbia and the late Lee N. Sholder of Royal Oak, Mich.

     Neil retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 35 years and was a Korean War veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. He recently celebrated his 40th anniversary to his loving wife, the former Kathryn L. Kilhefner.

     Devoted husband, father, brother and friend, Neil enjoyed playing cards, horse racing and the simpler things of life.

     Surviving besides his wife are sons Marc W. (Jane), of Fleetwood and Craig A. at home, granddaughters Emily and Meredith.

     A private funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Burial will follow at Twin Hills Memorial Park.4
According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Neil's last known residence was Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
