Lee Nelson Sholder1,2,3

     Lee Nelson Sholder was born on 22 November 1928 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4,1,3 He was the son of Charles Samuel Sholder and Josephine Polly Bingaman.1 Lee Nelson Sholder died on 6 August 2003 at Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan, at age 74 years, 8 months and 15 days.4,1,3 He was cremated and his ashes were placed under the marker found in the Montoursville Cemetery on the lot with his parents.5,3
     He graduated in 1946 from Williamsport Area High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was in military service with the United States Air Force during the Korean War between 1951 and 1953 attaining the rank of Sergeant Major. He was the owner of a company called Timber Tectonics, Inc. in 2000 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. As of 2000, Lee Nelson Sholder lived at 3126 Warwick Road, Royal Oak, Oakland County, Michigan. His obituary was published on 16 August 2003 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Lee Nelson Sholder, 74, died unexpectedly at his residence Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, in Royal Oak, Mich. Lee was born in Williamsport, Pa., a son of Josephine and Charles Sholder.

     A 1946 graduate of Williamsport High School, Mr. Sholder served with the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He worked in manufacturing in Pennsylvania and Colorado before moving to Detroit, Mich., where he started his own business, Timber Tectonics, a sign company.

     Mr. Sholder was a member of Royal Oak Acorn Post 1669, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, gardening, cooking and the Internet.

     Surviving are his brothers, Neil and Donald of this area, and four nieces and nephews.

     Interment will be at the convenience of the family.1


     The obituary for Neil Harvey Sholder on 13 March 2006 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, listed Lee Nelson Sholder as his deceased brother.6
