     Donald Alan Brooks was born on 26 February 1950 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,3 He was the son of Clarence H. Brooks and Lois E. Livermore.1,2 Donald Alan Brooks married, at age 19, Patricia Ann Walburn on Saturday, 2 August 1969.1 Donald Alan Brooks died on 29 April 1977 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, Monroe County, New York, at age 27 years, 2 months and 3 days.1,3 He was buried on 2 May 1977 in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, located in Fairfield Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The funeral service was officiated by Dennis A. Hummel.1
     Donald Alan Brooks was employed by Robert Wagner Masonry Contractors between 1966 and 1977 as a mason Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 His obituary was published sometime in May 1977 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:

     Donald Alan Brooks, 27, of Proctor Star Route, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 29, 1977, in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, N.Y., following a brief illness.

     He was born in this city on February 26, 1950, a son of Clarence and Lois Livermore Brooks.

     He was a member of the Balls Mills United Methodist Church.

     A 1968 graduate of Williamsport High School, Mr. Brooks was an employee of Robert Wagner Masonry Contractors, Linden, for 11 years.

     He was a member of the Lycoming Consolidated Trapshooters Association and the Bar Hill Hunting Club.

     Surviving besides his parents, are his wife, the former Patricia Walburn; a son, Todd Alan, and a daughter, Katrina Ann, both at home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar G. Brooks, of Canon City, Colo., and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Helen Livermore, of Williamsport RD 2.

     The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Knight's, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with the Rev. Dennis A. Hummel, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.1


     Donald Alan was listed in Clarence H. Brooks's obituary on 24 January 2002 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as his deceased son.2
