     Allen Richard Huggins was born on 24 July 1907 at Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Harry Hoyt Huggins and Elizabeth Arnold.1 Allen Richard Huggins married, at age 26, Lois Grace Calkins, age 18, daughter of Floyd Douglas Calkins and Carrie Elizabeth Updegraff, on Saturday, 29 July 1933 at Presbyterian Parsonage, Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5,3,4 Allen Richard Huggins died on 14 January 1996 at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years, 5 months and 21 days.6,2 He was buried on 18 January 1996 in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6
     He was employed by the United States Postal Service 1964 Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
